NEW YORK — On Monday, RBR+TVBR was first to report the acquisition of a generative AI-powered company that “helps your news team get more done, faster,” by generating artificial news anchors for an AM or FM based on a local news source of a station’s choosing by Aiir Inc., which offers software applications to radio stations including the PlayoutONE automation system with WebVT for remote broadcasting, as well as websites and mobile apps, and studio messaging dashboards.

As such, it is only a matter of when, not if, concerns regarding bias in the reports emerges. A research team at the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications sought to tackle the question of whether or not AI-generated news would create bias to a greater degree than that of humans, based on non-subjective reasoning.
