NBC's scores w/ '2011 ALMA Awards' highest 18-49 demo

At 8 p.m. ET, the “2011 ALMA Awards” (0.8/3 in 18-49, 2.9 million viewers overall) earned NBC’s highest 18-49 rating in the time period since July 15 and biggest overall audience in the hour since July 22.
 
Versus results for its most recent telecast (0.5/2 in 18-49, 2.078 million viewers overall on ABC Friday, Sept. 18, 2009 from 8-10 p.m.), the “ALMA Awards” were up 60 percent in 18-49 rating and up 38 percent in total viewers.


From 9-11 p.m. ET, “Dateline NBC” (1.5/5 in 18-49, 5.4 million viewers overall) led NBC to the nightlong win with the #1 rating of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49.  It’s the 13th time this summer “Dateline NBC” has ranked #1 or tied for #1 among all non-sports Friday telecasts on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW.  
 
“Dateline NBC” ranked #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in all key demographics — adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54.  This marks the 11th week in a row and the 14th time in its last 15 telecasts that Friday’s “Dateline” has ranked #1 or tied for #1 in the slot among non-sports programs on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49.

In the 10:30 lead-in to local news, “Dateline NBC” delivered a 24 percent margin of victory in the key news demo of adults 25-54 (with a 2.1 rating vs. a 1.7 for ABC’s second-place “20/20”).  “Dateline” was also #1 in the 10:30 half-hour in all other key demographics.

NBC is #1 for the night among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49 and all other key demographics.
