EntercomEntercom’s WRKO-AM Boston announced that starting Monday, 6/11 Michele McPhee will return to the station as the new host of middays 11am to 3pm. She’ll  replace Laura Ingraham and Jen Brien, and will also serve as the primary fill-in for Howie Carr.

“This is great day for our brand, our clients, and most importantly our listeners,” said Jeff Brown, Vice President and General Manager/Entercom Boston.  “We are excited about this change, excited to have Michele back at WRKO and excited to continue our track record of delivering advertiser results.”

Michele is no stranger to local listeners. She is a frequent commentator on Boston’s Fox 25 and is the New England correspondent for ABC News. She also appears each Monday in the Boston Herald.  She is a celebrated author and has covered high-profile crime cases across the country and has been a commentator on breaking news for national programs on CNN; MSNBC; and the Fox News Network. McPhee was the first female Police Bureau Chief for the New York Daily News and was a weekly columnist and the Police Bureau Chief for the Boston Herald.
