You won’t find Paintsville KY on any Arbitron map, but Terry Forcht’s regional Key Broadcasting Inc. group will be upgrading its operation there, adding WKYH-AM to its WSIP AM and FM combo.

The seller is Highlands Broadcasting Corporation, headed by Charles K. Belhasen. It will actually be selling to S.I.P. Broadcasting, the name Key will be putting on the WKYH license. Forcht is joined by Marion C. Forcht and Jackie L. Willis in the ownership lineup. According to the contract, Hensen Media brokered the deal.

The price for the station will be $130K. $20K of that is an escrow deposit, and $100K will be paid in cash at closing. Belhasen is taking the remaining $10K in an advertising credit. 25% of this will be claimed on WKYH, and 75% on Key’s WSIP-FM.
