SAN LUIS OBISPO, CALIF. — Along California’s Central Coast, two companies dominate the commercial radio scene: American General Media, and the company born out of the former Buckley Radio. The latter company’s holdings in this picturesque market known for its vineyards and coastline include “The Beach,” perhaps best-described as Classic Adult Alternative; Americana icon “KPIG;” and Classic Country and News/Talk services using FM translators fed by AMs found on HD multicast signals associated with Class B1 KWWV-FM.
Now, Dimes is adding a third FM translator to the San Luis Obispo stable.
