DeezerLogo#2Digital music streaming service Deezer has launched here, complete with a U.S.-aimed Website and iOS, Android and Windows phone apps. The European-based service is live in 180 countries.

In many of those the service is free, but here consumers must pay $9.99 a month after a 30-day trial, reports Techcrunch.

The company has small, controlled moves to expand in the U.S. over time; That includes acquiring podcasting platform Stitcher and adding that content onto the Deezer platform. Stitcher was sold to Scripps this year, we’ve reported.

The company’s expansion here comes without its U.S. CEO; Tyler Goldman left the company recently, but since the U.S. rollout had been in the works the company decided to go ahead without an executive here, reports Techcrunch.
