Tired of hearing tunes on Apple Music?
Now you can get your fix of sports talk.
CBS Sports Radio, the 24/7 sports radio network operated by CBS Radio, has launched a dedicated channel on the premium streaming audio service.
This brings subscribers the full slate of the network’s programming to another delivery vehicle. In addition to affiliate and CBS O&O radio stations, CBS Sports Radio is also accessible via CBS’s own Radio.com app.
“The appetite for compelling and hard-to-ignore sports analysis, commentary and fan debate continues to grow across all audio platforms,” said CBS Radio EVP/Programming Chris Oliviero. “It’s an ideal next step to launch a channel on Apple Music, one of the most popular streaming services today, as yet another way we continue to meet the evolving desires of this passionate audience anywhere and everywhere.”
CBS Sports Radio launched in January 2013. Its weekday lineup includes (by order of daypart), Gio and Jones; Tiki and Tierney; The Jim Rome Show; The Doug Gottlieb Show; The DA Show (featuring Damon Amendolara); Ferrall on the Bench (featuring Scott Ferrall); and After Hours with Amy Lawrence.
