Apple is close to buying the audio news app Swell. The deal is worth about $30 million. Swell had raised $7.2 million from investors including DFJ, Google Ventures and InterWest Partners. The app lets you listen to unlimited personalized audio news and podcasts from sources like iTunes, NPR, ABC, ESPN, BBC, CBC, TED, and more.
