It rebranded its app from VUit to Zeam earlier this year with a splashy Super Bowl LVIII ad featuring actor and musician John Stamos. Now, the company powering the OTT app featuring local content from broadcast TV stations across the U.S. is bolstering its executive leadership team as it seeks to widen its original fare.

The additions to the Zeam Media team, led by founder and CEO Jack Perry, see Jessica Levy taking the post of Senior Director of Social Media.

She’s inbound from audio content creation and distribution company Audacy Inc., where Levy served as Senior Director of Social Content & Strategy until two months ago, when she publicly bid farewell to an area as she shared on LinkedIn that she was part “of the recent workforce reduction” at Audacy, ending a five-year run at the company formerly known as Entercom.

“She brings strong expertise in growing a brand’s social media presence, implementing social strategy for all of Audacy’s national and local accounts and growing the network to 26 million followers across all music, news and sports stations,” Zeam says.

Levy previously served as Project Manager for Content and Strategy at The Foundry @ Meredith, acquired from Time Inc. She has also served as Social Media Manager for Sirius XM (from October 2013-July 2015) and, for eight months before that, as Social Media Marketing Manager for Live Nation Entertainment.

Concurrently, Ali Edwards has joined the company to take the role of Executive Producer & Studio Manager. She previously served as Head of Development for Disarming Films, a U.S. documentary production company. “She will play a critical role in elevating Zeam’s original and cutting-edge content and programming,” Zeam Media says.

Additionally, the post of Associate Creative Director is being filled by Bea Bueno, whose resume includes stops at ad agencies including Known and DDB. “At Zeam Media, she will lead Zeam’s visual identity, UX & UI, and spearhead digital campaign production, overseeing the expansion of the company’s brand guidelines, enhancing its social media design, and leading a team of animators and editors,” the company shares.

Alan Barish, formerly SEM Manager at Digilant, joins Zeam as Senior Media Planner & Buyer as Martial Gentil becomes a Media Director. Gentil is a former Global Media Director at ISPD, Happyfication and Havas and the founder of SHARP Media & Data, a consulting firm specializing in marketing activations. Specifically, Gentil will serve as a consultant to lead the company’s media team with the goal of driving significant growth via paid media. This includes building up new data and media technology infrastructure as the company internalizes paid media, Zeam says.
