“Due to economic conditions in the market,” Townsquare Media at the start of 2024 took a trio of Delaware County, N.Y., FM radio stations silent under special temporary authority. Docket 80-90 additions to the dial, the FMs are licensed to serve a rural area of the Catskills Region that gets much of its media from nearby Binghamton — where most of the ad dollars go.
Now, Townsquare Media has found a buyer for the stations that doesn’t need to worry about advertising revenue.
