The Home Depot Retains Its Spot Radio Lead Role

The home improvement retailer remains one of the most resilient when it comes to broadcast media advertising. And, for the week ending July 2, that couldn’t have been clearer. Two of the top four slots, by spot play count, are taken by the category’s twin towers.


As shown below, The Home Depot is a strong No. 1 thanks to more than 60,000 spot plays. But Lowe’s is a strong No. 4 behind The Upside and ZipRecruiter, brands that have also made their mark on Radio across the first half of 2023.

Meanwhile, Wendy‘s is the clear QSR reader, while Target seeks to move past Pride Month controversies with an effort putting it at No. 6 for the week.
