A Weigel Broadcasting digital multicast network known for showcasing female heroines in “proven procedural dramas” is now available to DirecTV consumers, as it was added to the lineup on Tuesday.
This means Start TV is a part of the national channel lineup, taking Channel 84.
The addition of Start TV is thanks to a multi-year carriage deal between DirecTV and Weigel.
Start TV joins Weigel’s flagship MeTV classic television-focused digital broadcast network and action-adventure channel H&I on the DirecTV lineup, “building on a successful partnership that has truly been a win-win,” said Neal Sabin, Vice-Chairman of Weigel Broadcasting. “We are excited to extend Start TV’s reach.”
