Sinclair Shoots Back At Tribune With Breach Assertion

Three weeks ago, the third movement of Chopin’s Piano Sonata No. 2, a.k.a. the “Funeral March,” would have been appropriate bumper music for programs heard on Tribune Media‘s WGN-AM 720 or perhaps on newscasts of such Tribune stations as KTLA-5 in Los Angeles.

Tribune announced that it had terminated its merger agreement with Sinclair Broadcast Group and filed a lawsuit in the Delaware Chancery Court against Sinclair for breach of contract.

Now, Sinclair has fired back with its own breach of contract claims against Tribune and seeks monetary damages.
