Domino Effect: A Big Spot Cable Holiday Weekend Push

September is already here, and as the Labor Day weekend approached and unfolded, one QSR brand topped another big, heritage fast-food chain in the latest Spot Ten Cable report from Media Monitors.


The bigger news: The two brands accounted for more than 110,000 spot plays for the week ending August 31.

As shown below, Domino’s and No. 2 Burger King dominated as the 2025 College Football season began.

The two brands pushed The Home Depot to No. 3 as pharmaceutical brand Tremfya and tire brand Michelin entered the Spot Ten Cable report.

 

By comparison, Tremfya is No. 3 at Spot TV, while Wendy’s bests Domino’s in the QSR category.
