The four radio stations Audacy Inc. owns in Cleveland, plus the market’s “Channel Q” HD Radio home, have a new leader. It’s the individual who has served as General Sales Manager for Sports Talk WKRK-FM “92.3 The Fan” and joined the company then-known as Entercom in 1996.

Earning the title of SVP/Market Manager and Director of Sales for Audacy’s WKRK and Classic Rock WNCX-FM, Adult Contemporary WDOK-FM “Star 102,” Hot Adult Contemporary WQAL-FM “Q104” and WQAL HD3’s “Channel Q” is Jeff Miller.

He reports to Regional President Mark Hannon, who says Miller “has been one of our key sales management leaders for nearly three decades, leading robust sales teams and managing salespeople of all experience levels. He has also been an integral player in making ‘92.3 The Fan’ one of the market’s dominant revenue leaders while managing the relationship with our key partner, the Cleveland Browns. I know that Jeff will advance the legacy of Tom Herschel as Audacy Cleveland’s new leader, and I look forward to working with him to set the path forward.”

Herschel’s retirement was publicly shared prior to the Independence Day holiday.

“I am humbled, motivated and very excited to accept this fantastic opportunity to lead Audacy Cleveland,” Miller said. “I look forward to working with our team and the entire organization to build on the success we experienced under Tom Herschel’s guidance. Many thanks to David Field, Susan Larkin and Mark Hannon for allowing me the privilege to guide these iconic brands.”

Miller previously served as General Sales Manager for 92.3 The Fan, the Cleveland Browns’ flagship radio station, while also supporting sister stations 98.5 WNCX, Star 102 and Q104. Miller started his career in 1990, and his resume includes roles at WZIP and WQMX in Akron, Ohio; and at Audacy-owned WGGY-FM in Wilkes Barre-Scranton.
