As the FCC sees it, “MHR License LLC” and “MMR License LLC” are groups that hold multiple radio station licenses, with the former focused on Virginia and the latter inclusive of stations in Illinois and Missouri.
For the radio industry, the ownership group is Gene Loving’s Max Media, and to resolve an unauthorized transfer of control involving those two groups, a Consent Decree has been signed that sees Max Media write out a check to the U.S. Treasury.
