The nation’s top broadcast TV station owner by number of properties has appointed a new Local Sales Manager for its operation in the nation’s tenth-largest market.
Earning the post at KRON-4 in San Francisco is Matt Morse.
He’s inbound from Hearst Television, where he was a Sales Manager for its Kansas City stations, KMBC-9 and KCWE-29 for 13 months.
Before that, Morse spent 10 1/2 years in Central California, rising at KMPH-26 and KFRE-59 in Fresno to the role of GM in December 2019. He exited in May 2023.
Morse has also been Local Sales Manager of News-Press & Gazette Co.’s KEYT-3 in Santa Barbara, Calif., and held that role from January 2005-January 2006. He then served as Local Sales Manager of KPTV-12 in Portland, Ore.
Nexstar says Morse is returning to California to be closer to family.

Morse reports to Michelle Woods, who started in October of 2023 as the Director of Sales.
