She grew up watching Gray Television-owned WALB-10 in Albany, Ga., the company’s very first station. Today, this longtime TV sales executive has risen to become General Manager of the station and its low-power TV sibling that brings The CW Network to the Georgia market.

Earning her first GM role is Liz Knight, who rises from General Sales Manager for dual ABC/NBC affiliate WALB; CW+-affiliated WGCW-LD 36 and the Telemundo affiliate operated by Gray in the Albany, Ga., market.

Knight has been GSM for five years, and previously served as Local Sales Manager for 9 years. She’s also held the role of Digital Sales Manager, rising from an Account Executive position.

Outside of her role at the Gray stations, Knight serves as a member of the Dougherty County Rotary Club; this allows her to give back to dozens of non-profits in her community. She is also active with women in leadership and the Lee County School System advisory board.
