He’s been a prolific buyer and seller of low-power television stations in recent years and could be seen across the LPTV Broadcasters Association’s symposium at the NAB Show in April. Now, Jeff Winemiller is back in the news, and he’s buying a LPTV property in Myrtle Beach.
Winemiller, through its Lowcountry 34 Media, is purchase WMBE-LD in the oceanfront community from Janice B. Baxter.
A $117,500 purchase price has been agreed upon. A $10,000 deposit is being held by Doyle Hadden of Hadden & Associates, which saw Ryan Hadden serve as the broker in this transaction.
Baxter will pay Hadden 10% of the sale price as commission.
Winemiller’s legal counsel is Davina Sashkin of Wilkinson Barker Knauer; Baxter’s legal counsel is James L. Oyster.
Using Channel 5, WMBE-LD has served as the home of ACE TV. NewsNet airs on WMBE-LD 5.2.
