FCC Budget Hearing Dominated By Net Neutrality Chat

WASHINGTON, D.C. — It was scheduled as a House Energy & Committee Communications and Technology Subcommittee hearing focused on the FCC’s budget. Yet, within the first 15 minutes of discussion, it became very clear that dollars and appropriation suggestions will hardly be the key focal points of the discussion.


Rather, attacks by Republicans about the FCC’s return of “net neutrality” rules and Democrats’ defense of the action dominated the divisive chatter as all five voting members of the Commission appeared in the Rayburn HOB meeting room.
