Christine Merritt To Retire From Ohio Association of Broadcasters

After 22 years of leading the Ohio Association of Broadcasters, Christine Merritt is stepping aside, and will soon retire. Who is succeeding her?


The Executive Director of the Academy of Model Aeronautics, where he has worked since 2010, has been appointed to the post.

Introducing Chad Budreau, who led legislative efforts at the state, local, and federal levels, securing Congressional recognition for AMA as a nationally recognized community-based organization, and working with regulatory bodies like the FAA, FCC, and DHS.

Budreau does have a background in broadcasting. And, it includes work with WIPB-TV in Muncie, Ind.; WOUB-TV in Athens, Ohio; and Whitewater Broadcasting’s radio stations in Richmond, IN, where he served in various roles, including Asst. Station Manager.
