He’s widely known for his four years as an editor-at-large at CNN.
Now, he’ll be contributing to programs on the Scripps News digital multicast network found on broadcast stations across the U.S.
“I’m a big fan of what Scripps is building — fair-minded and smart coverage of American politics,” said Chris Cillizza, a veteran political reporter. “I look forward to adding my voice to their chorus.”
Cillizza is known for “The Point,” a podcast and CNN on-air segment wrapping up the day’s biggest political headlines. He also regularly appeared as a political analyst on the network. Before his time at CNN, Cillizza worked for a decade at The Washington Post.
He’s also been a frequent guest across the nation’s politically infatuated cable news networks, appearing as an MSNBC political contributor for eight years.
Cillizza joins additional Scripps News contributors including former New York congresswoman Kathleen Rice, former Republican presidential candidate and Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson, and veteran political strategist Steve Schmidt.
