One of the nation's leading media companies serving Spanish-language consumers has scored a Class A television station in Central Florida. It's unclear how the company plans to use the facility, as its owns one property there but sees it and another property its linked to operated by Entravision Communications via an LMA agreement.

Two Class A TV stations that got no takers in the just-concluded spectrum auction have just been sold. In both deals, Kalil & Co. acted as the escrow agent and the buyer's broker, while Patrick Communications represented the seller.

Edge Spectrum has agreed to acquire 196 television station licenses and construction permits in a deal with EICB-TV and Grace Worship Center valued at $72 million. This involves a promissory note that will cover the entire value of a deal that was originally struck 364 days ago.
