LocusPoint WMGM and Univision Local Media have agreed on the sale of WMGM-TV, a full-power television station licensed to Wildwood, New Jersey, for $6,000,000.
Townsquare Buying Six Stations
Townsquare Media, Inc. has announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire six radio stations and two FM translators, in and around the Pittsfield, MA market, from Gamma Broadcasting LLC and Berkshire Broadcasting Co., Inc. Pro forma for the acquisition, Townsquare will own 318 radio stations in 67 markets. The company expects to close in the third quarter of this year.

Sinclair Exercises Its SeaTac Acquisition Option
A little more than five years ago, Fisher Broadcasting forged an agreement that gave it the option to purchase a Class C radio station serving the Seattle-Tacoma market. This was tied to an LMA that allowed Fisher to use the FM as a simulcast partner for one of its Seattle stations. Today, Sinclair Broadcast Group owns Fisher's former Seattle stations, and holds the purchase option. It's now decided to exercise that option.

Pandora Dumps Its Only FM Station
In what some may label a "fire sale" at troubled streaming audio company Pandora Media, the Oakland, Calif.-based company getting a $480 million investment from Sirius XM has just agreed to sell its only radio station for half of what Pandora paid for it exactly four years ago. Tucson-based Kalil & Co. represented Pandora in this transaction, which sees a South Dakota FM end up in the hands of a local broadcast company.
