Unkefer Unloads A Silent FM Translator

A broadcast industry figure also known as the founder of now-defunct West Coast electronics retailer Good Guys has elected to sell an FM translator in the Quad Cities of Illinois and Iowa. The buyer is a "selective, private liberal arts and sciences college," founded in 1860 by Swedish settlers.

‘TRU Calling For A Eastern Kansas FM

Some 100 miles to the southwest of Kansas City is a small town with an FM transmitter for what had been the home of a "true" Christian AC non-comm. The station is now an internet-only operation, as the licensee is selling the presently dark Class A that had been its over-the-air home.
