UK broadcasters launch “NO!” to battle DAB switch
Numerous UK radio broadcasters have launched a campaign opposing that country’s digital switchover. The move, unlike here in the US with HD Radio, would force analog FM broadcasters to all migrate to DAB. Ed Vaizey, the Communications minister, is expected to set a timetable for the switchover that may include a firm switchover date at the Go Digital Conference 12/16.

Report: Pandora’s negative trending
Seeking Alpha's Andrei Volgin is seeing some negative trending occurring with Pandora--likely since the launch of Apple's iTunes Radio and a new mobile listening cap. While Pandora just released its audience metrics for October that showed growth in total listener hours to 1.47 billion from 1.36 billion in September (hours per listener also increased), Volgin notes that one extra day in October accounts for 45% of the increase in total hours and 33% of the increase in hours per listener. More importantly, the company lost 1.8 million active listeners, he observed.
