It’s a new co-channel translator located downtown that extends the reach of 107.1—Rome Radio Partners WTSH-FM Rome, GA (60 miles NW of Atlanta). “South 107.” South 107 also covers northwest Georgia and reaches into Cobb County. Engineers have worked to make the new W296BB Jonesboro, GA simulcast with minimal interference on 107.1 where their contours overlap. It's 13 watts @ 344 ft. HAAT.
Utah judge slaps Aereo down
A decision was released 2/19 from Judge Dale Kimball of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Utah in favor of broadcasters granting a preliminary injunction against Aereo. Plaintiffs in the case were Community Television of Utah, LLC; KUTV-TV, FOX Broadcasting Co., and Nexstar Broadcasting.

WPHT-AM tower gets approval
The proposed AM tower will now be built next to the existing AM tower near the Moorestown-Cinnaminson, NJ border: CBS Radio East, which owns the existing 425-ft. tower for 50-kW WPHT-AM and the 21 acres it sits on, asked the Moorestown, NJ Zoning Board of Adjustment to approve the 199-ft aux tower for WPHT.
