As reported Monday in eMarketer, mobile apps improve the March Madness experience; users are keeping up with the NCAA Tournament by turning to their second screen. According to a study conducted by Harris Interactive for SOASTA, 41% of respondents plan to check for March Madness updates on their app more than once a day. During the first four days of WestwoodOne's exclusive audio coverage of the NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament, mobile listening was up, with more than one million fans tuned to WestwoodOne's broadcast via digital streaming and partnerships.
