Ed Sheeran to headline CBS Radio concert
Three-time Grammy nominated artist Ed Sheeran will play a one-of-a-kind show on Ellis Island National Monument, presented by CBS Radio, on Friday, 6/13. Sheeran has been staging “Multiply Days” – consisting of a number of ever-growing, intimate performances in a single day - around the globe in anticipation of his new album, x (pronounced ‘multiply’). “Ed On Ellis” will be the largest in a series of shows during the U.S. installment of “Multiply Day” in New York City.

Q1 flat for radio
Q1 showed the 5th consecutive quarter of flat revenue, says the RAB. Spot revenue was down 2%, Network revenue was down 8%. Digital revenue, still a small percentage of radio's overall revenue, was up 16%.
SBS Q1 down 16%
SBS had a tough Q1, with net revenues of $32.8 million compared to $39.1 million for Q1 2013--a decrease of $6.3 million or 16%. SBS’s radio segment revenues decreased $3.5 million or 11%, due to a decrease in special events revenue, which was offset by increases in local and network sales. The special events revenue decrease occurred throughout most of its markets, with the exception of San Francisco market.
