In February, the Audio Division Chief within the FCC’s Media Bureau had a choice between Augustana College and another mutually exclusive application. That other group, which was the tentative selectee, was confirmed as the winner of the future facility.
The school sought reconsideration of the grant to Vanguard Association of Sunbelt Colleges Corporation. The Commission wasn’t swayed, and VASC will move ahead with the construction of a new noncommercial FM in Iowa.
