Here’s another way to view it — one that may work for you, or TV viewers in your market.
EstrellaTV‘s expansion from a broadcast TV network to a multiplatform offering tailored to U.S. Hispanics continues to grow, as the network and its Estrella News offerings are now available on VIZIO SmartCast TV sets.
It’s another way the network, launched in 2009 but under new management for the past five quarters, is reinventing itself by expanding beyond Estrella Media’s 15 owned or operated stations and its 30+ broadcast affiliates.
SmartCast is VIZIO’s operating system, which comes equipped with each new VIZIO Smart TV.
VIZIO also has the ability to automatically push SmartCast updates to TVs.
“The addition of EstrellaTV Network and Estrella News supports VIZIO’s commitment to providing robust and diverse content options to our millions of viewers,” Estrella Media EVP of Digital and Streaming Media René Santaella said.
