A New President Arrives At Havas Media Canada

TORONTO — She most recently served as Partner and Chief Strategy Officer for Noise Digital, a performance marketing, technology and analytics agency which was acquired by Havas Media Network in Spring 2023.


Now, she’s been appointed as its new Canadian President and will split her time between Vancouver and the GTA.

Earning the title is Louise Simkin. She reports to North America CEO Greg James.

In her role at Noise Digital, Simkin led the data consulting, strategy, and media planning practices, ands steered the agency’s business development. Now, she’s charged with continuing Havas Media Network’s “transformative investment in client-centric leadership and development across the Canadian marketplace.”

Simkin has led data strategies for brands such as Air New Zealand, Westpac, Whirlpool, Destination British Columbia, the Jim Pattison Group, and Vodafone.

Most recently, Noise Digital collaborated with Google Cloud and Destination Canada to launch a landmark, groundbreaking national platform for tourism data, advanced analytics, and thought leadership with the Canadian Tourism Data Collective. A joint venture between Destination Canada, Statistics Canada and Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada, the Data Collective is engineered to redefine the operation of the tourism sector by focusing on centralized data assets, unifying data intelligence, monitoring data quality and operational efficiencies.
