Hearst Media Production Group (HMPG), in partnership with Kidde, and producer Epic Entertainment and Media Group, have cleared a second-season renewal of “Home for Good” — an education/information series focused on home-and-life safety education seen on ABC Television Network stations each Saturday.

Blending entertainment, education and a brand message, “Home for Good” is a home renovation series honoring people who make a difference in their communities. The half-hour episodes are hosted by Art Edmonds.

The second season will continue to feature first responders while bringing more community champions and service workers into the spotlight, including educators, mentors and volunteers who serve families in need, HMPG said in an announcement released October 22.

In particular, Season Two will feature a firefighter supporting families of children with autism, a teacher whose students bring comfort to young cancer patients, a volunteer who provides food and supplies to people experiencing homelessness, and a mentor who created a free life-skills program for local youth.

“We’re excited to bring Home for Good back for a second season,” said HMPG President Bryan Curb. “The series shows what giving back looks like through the people who serve their communities, while giving viewers practical fire and CO safety information they can use at home. That combination reflects the value of E/I programming: stories that educate, inform and offer a meaningful benefit to audiences.”
