An AM/FM combo along with an FM translator licensed to the Rocky Mountain burgh of Pagosa Springs, Colo., is being sold.
Who is the buyer of these stations being divested by Wolf Creek Broadcasting Co.?
The answer is locally based Loose Wire Productions LLC, which has finalized an agreement to purchase KWUF-AM & FM and K273CZ in Pagosa Springs.
With Aaron Shainis of Shainis & Peltzman serving as legal counsel, Loose Wire is paying $200,000 for the stations.
A $50,000 payment will be made at closing, with the remainder honored by a Promissory Note at 5% annual interest.
Loose wire is a 50/50 partnership between Colin Gilbertson and Nicole Pitcher.
Pagosa Springs is famed for its natural geothermal natural hot springs and is on picturesque U.S. Highway 160, due east of Durango.
