They’re a winner in the National Hockey League, with a legion of fans across the Silver State who have adopted the team as their own, gobbling up knowledge of a sport that arrived in Southern Nevada a decade ago. Now, the official radio partner of the Vegas Golden Knights is changing with the 2026-2027 season, and it brings the club’s audio coverage to Beasley Media Group.
The newly announced deal with “VGK” and the publicly traded company based in Naples, Fla., brings the team’s audio coverage to two Beasley properties. English-language coverage will now be heard on KVGS-FM “X 107.9,” the Rock Alternative station that recently relocated from KXTE-FM 107.5, a station sold to K-LOVE Inc.
Spanish-language coverage of the Vegas Golden Knights will now be heard on bilingual Adult Contemporary KOAS-FM “105.7 Máxima.”
The Vegas Golden Knights shift to Beasley from Lotus Communications‘ KKGK-AM 1340 and its 94.7 MHz translator, branded as “FOX Sports Las Vegas. Spanish-language coverage had aired on KENO-AM 1460.
Lee’s Discount Liquor was confirmed as the presenting sponsor for the VGK Radio Network.

Beasley’s four Las Vegas stations reach every corner of this valley, and now every one of them carries the team — with X 107.9 as the home of the Golden Knights and Máxima as their Spanish-language home,” said Kevin LeGrett, chief business officer at Beasley Media Group.

In related news, minor league franchise Henderson Silver Knights will also see their games broadcast on “X 107.9” and on KKLZ-FM’s HD2 signal, carrying all 72 regular-season games and the Calder Cup Playoffs.
