Curtis Agrees To Buy A Silent N.C. FM

It is a FM radio station licensed for 50kw that touches the Greenville-New Bern, N.C., market from a broadcast tower along the Pamlico River. However, it has been dark since late February, due to “financing” concerns.


Now, Dick Broadcasting Co. has agreed to sell the facility, once a simulcast partner of WQSL-FM, serving Jacksonville and Wilmington, N.C. The buyer? Look no further than Don Curtis.
