Michael Dagen is awaiting regulatory approval for his purchase of a low-power television station from a group led by President Ana Guel. With the FCC’s OK, this gives Dagen control of a property licensed to a small municipality along Interstate 8 just east of Yuma, Ariz.
KYPO-LD in Tacna, Ariz., is being transferred from Guel-led LMO Christian Media to Dagen’s Sunshine TV LLC.
A $75,000 purchase price has been agreed to by the parties.
A $25,000 escrow payment is being held by Crystal Title & Escrow. The remainder is payable in cash at closing.
Dagen is based in Brevard County, Fla.; he used the legal services of Mark Denbo of Smithwick & Belendiuk.
