It’s a Class D daytime-only AM radio station that serves a small North Carolina city due south of Danville, Va. Pending FCC approval, it will soon be in the hands of a new owner.
WYNC-AM in Yanceyville, N.C., along U.S. Highway 158, is being sold by Semora Broadcasting.
The buyer is True Word Media, which is paying $135,000 for the facility.
A $90,000 downpayment is being executed, with $45,000 to be honored at closing via a Promissory Note at 3% interest.
WYNC has been offering Gospel programming to local listeners.
