In September 2020, the General Manager of St. Louis Public Radio was dismissed. Former NPR Board Vice Chair Tom Livingston became interim GM as allegations of a “legacy of structural racism” emerged from a group of reporters and producers one month earlier.
Now, the former head of KWMU-FM 90.7 in St. Louis; WQUB-FM 90.3 in Quincy, Ill.; and KMST-FM 88.5 in Rolla, Mo., has taken the stations’ licensee, and the University of Missouri Board of Curators, to court.
