While one can hardly compare the content of Ted Lasso or Stranger Things to a local television newscast — unless, perhaps, there’s a feature story about a quirky coach or supernatural activity in a small industrial town — the trade association serving America’s local broadcast TV industry has released new data comparing the audience sizes for local TV news versus those for subscription streaming.
There’s a big difference in the audience sizes, TVB shares. As such, local TV news perhaps deserves more advertiser attention.
