Fubo’s first partnership with a Major League Baseball team has been cemented. And, it means Fubo branding and hospitality opportunities at the MLB club’s fabled stadium, in addition to fan engagement opportunities at the stadium and in virtual platforms, is on the way in the Back Bay.

It’s signage and experiential marketing linked to a contract signed between the “sports-first” vMVPD and the Boston Red Sox.

Fubo’s local sports coverage in Boston includes the Red Sox, and the NFL Patriots, NBA Celtics and NHL Bruins.

Fubo carries Red Sox games through NESN, local broadcast networks, national sports networks ESPN and FS1, and just added MLB.TV to properties including the MLB Network and MLB Strike Zone.

“The Boston Red Sox are proud to team up with Fubo as their first MLB Club relationship, and their industry leading status in sports streaming make them a natural choice as a partner of the club,” said Troup Parkinson, EVP of Partnerships with the Boston Red Sox. “We look forward to helping them provide Red Sox fans with additional benefits at Fenway Park and supporting their extensive gameday coverage through trusted partners like NESN.”

Yale Wang, SVP of Marketing at Fubo, added, “Fubo customers are very passionate about sports, and Boston sports fans are obviously very passionate about the Red Sox, making this partnership even more special.”
