BOCA RATON, FLA. — As Monday began for many across the East Coast of the U.S., the 8am Eastern top-of-the-hour newscast usually heard by CBS News Radio affiliates didn’t arrive as it normally would have. Stations were asked to cover the time usually allotted to The World News Roundup with local content.
What happened? A “technical issue” was impacting CBS News Radio’s tech provider, Skyview Networks.
