Serving Lee County, Va., is an AM/FM Country-formatted combo that serves a geographical area to the northwest of Kingsport, Tenn., and to the south of Cumberland, W. Va.


Pending FCC approval, this radio pair will be heading to a new owner.

Bouldin Radio has agreed to purchase WSWV-AM & FM in Pennington Gap, Va.

Also included in the deal is FM Translator W270CB.

The seller is B C Broadcasting Company, and it is selling the facilities for $65,000.

A 10% deposit has been made to the seller; the remainder will be paid in cash at closing.

Of the total purchase price, $55,000 is being allocated to the tangible property associated with the stations, and the remainder is attributed to the licenses as goodwill.

The buyer is headed by Roger Bouldin, who is based in Bristol, Va.
