Mark June 22-23 on your calendar if you’re a Wisconsin Broadcasters Association member. Those are the dates of the WBA Summer Conference, and it’s being held in La Crosse, Wisc.
And, there are options — including a golf outing.
Wednesday, June 22 starts with a “play your own ball” outing, or an alternative: The WBA Media Technology Institute (MTI). Tuesday and Thursday will be devoted to essential technology topics including antenna, transmission and other RF concepts and discussions of data networking for communication systems. A discussion the business of broadcasting, the role of a chief operator and what to expect during an inspection is also on the agenda.
MTI attendees will join the WBA Engineering Day conference sessions on Wednesday.
A third option involves conference sessions.
