Reflections On The FCC’s Pai Times

Four years ago, the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) was selected by the Trump transition team to help shape the policymaking and “modernization” plans of the FCC, which would see the selection of Ajit Pai as Chairman, succeeding Tom Wheeler.


Now, with the election of Joe Biden all but certain despite White House efforts to validate its claims of ballot fraud, Pai’s tenure as Chairman will likely conclude in roughly eight weeks.

Daniel Lyons, an AEI visiting fellow, looks back on the Pai Commission and how his leadership has shaped the future of tech policy.
