If the FCC approves, WWEN will change hands
The seller is Tupelo, Miss.-based non-profit American Family Association.
The buyer is non-profit Real Presence Radio, based in Grand Forks, N.D.
The price is $200,000. A deposit of $12,500 was to be placed in escrow and the $187,000 balance is to be paid at closing.
WWEN is a Class A FM, authorized to operate on 88.1 MHz in Wentworth, Wis. The station has an ERP of 850 watts @ 456’ HAAT.
Real Presence Radio also owns a total of 8 full-power NCE FMs and two translators located in Minnesota, and North and South Dakota.
