Patrick County Communications plans to sell WHEO in Stuart, Va.
The buyer is Mountain View Communications.
The deal includes the station, buildings and just over three and a half acres of land.
The total purchase price is $94,000.
WHEO is a 5kW non-directional AM daytimer.
Equipment that conveys includes two transmitters, a Gates from 1959 and a Harris unit installed in 1980, Belar modulation monitor from 1980 and a Scully reel-to-reel from that same era. Newer gear includes a Shure mic from 2005 and automation software from 2010.
