Indiana-based Sarkes Tarzian Inc. is getting ready to spend some serious money to improve its access to listeners in the Fort Wayne market. But to do that, it’ll have to build what it’s buying. Broker: Jon Yinger. Broadcast Properties LLC (seller).
The acquisition is the CP for W258BY, licensed to Fort Wayne.
The seller is Fort Wayne Catholic Radio Group, headed by Chairman Jeremy Reidy. It’s a non-profit organization.
Executive VP Geoff Vargo signed off on the deal for Sarkes Tarzian.
The price will be $190,000 cash.
Along with filing for approval of the transaction, the parties will file for a CP modification that will allow STI to relocate the facility.
The CP is for 99.5 MHz with 220 W @ 440’. It will provide fine service to its city of license.
