The seller of a portion of a Missouri FM station will remain as part of the surviving entity, and the new owner will take on a licensee name that harkens to the station’s own operating identifier.
The station is KFNS-FM Troy MO.
The seller is Westplex Broadcasting LLC. Steve Kaspar signed off on the application.
The buyer is Viper Broadcasting LLC. Christopher Blevins is listed as 60% stakeholder, and Kaspar shows up with the remaining 40%.
The price is $318,750, all of which is in the form of liability assumption, including $237,500 owed to Providence Bank and $81,200 owed to People’s Bank and Trust.
KFNS-FM is a Class A on 100.7 MHz with 6 kW @ 328’. It’s located to the northwest of St. Louis. Its outermost contour makes it to about half of the urbanized area.
The station will be a standalone.
Its moniker is “The Viper” and it’s known for “Rockin’ the Westplex”.
