Political noncom loophole undone

GavelA 9th Circuit Court ruling that would have permitted political advertising on non-commercial radio and television stations has been overturned by the same court, before the provision ever had a chance to take hold.


The original 2012 ruling would not have permitted noncoms to sell general advertising, but it could have opened yet another political floodgate by giving candidates access to another audience.
